Along my creative career path, I have often dabbled in the realm of Interactivity. Even before my college years I was overly intrigued with interactive websites, games and Flash video. This slowly built up into a passion for interactive video for web, eventually sparking a desire to host a Flash-based portfolio soon after earning my degree. Fresh out of school I was compelled to pursue the fields of game design and animation, which heavily influenced the theme of the following portfolio example. My primary focus being hard-surface modeling, I strived to capture an aged industrial feeling in my frame and button design, utilizing a mouse-over glow to entice interactive engagement.
All frames and buttons were custom-made bitmaps using Adobe Photoshop and exported as transparent PNG files. All animation and interactive elements were keyframed and scripted using Adobe Flash Professional/Actionscript 2.0. Please feel free to explore these interactive Flash portfolio templates by clicking the Test button, below.
Note: Some button links are no longer available due to outdated web sources.
I had also made a few attempts at some alternative designs which can be seen by clicking the various buttons, below.
Note: These templates included audio toggling, multi-state button animations and reactive VFX.
I've also worked on some proprietary courses over the years, using Articulate Storyline 2. Click on the sample button, below to give it a whirl!
